Looking for a PM / Coordinator to assist the LP at a busy NYC production company. Responsibilities will include : booking crews, renting / prepping gear, making call sheets, reserving cars, booking travel, reconciling PC and Amex statements, securing permits and assisting the LP with other various production tasks. This position is not show specific meaning the position requires someone to work on multiple projects throughout the company. The ability to multitask is a must as production handles the needs for development projects while also handling the production needs for some of our smaller shows. The ideal candidate will have an interest in advancing up the production management ranks ie. eventually becoming an LP, EIC etc. Knowledge of Excel and Word are a must and knowledge of Quickbooks/ Vista is a plus. The position is for 6 weeks with potential of a long term extension for the right person.

The Production Manager for the Production & Operations department provides essential support on development and series 3rd party projects of various scales across the *** U portfolio including *** , *** , USA, Oxygen, Bravo, E! and SyFy. For each project, this individual will work closely with the Production & Operations Series Leads on driving the process forward from Pre-Production and Production through Post Production and Delivery.

Responsibilities:

Communicates directly with 3rd Party Production Companies to explain expectations with regard to pre-production, production, post production and delivery.
To understand and be able to communicate Network technical delivery specifications as well as make sure the 3rd party production companies have all insurance, health & safety, and production policies in place.
Act as liaison *** ween 3rd party production companies and all internal Network departments including legal, marketing, the broadcast facility as well as health and safety.
Review and stay on top of production and post production schedules for multiple projects
Review and approve pilot and series wrap bibles, ensuring that all materials are received and accurate
Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on-time and report any issues to senior management
Observe all department and company guidelines
