This person should be a high-performing team player that is willing to exhaust all resources to get the job done, while being confident enough to ask for assistance when needed. The position requires strong written and oral communication skills. Video Buyers must be comfortable speaking to people on the phone about how great their videos are.

The right candidate will show the ability to find and integrate information from multiple sources, optimizing research tools and information sources to provide the most relevant content in the fastest turnaround time. People with sales experience preferred.

Job Description

Role Purpose

The Research Coordinator will provide full administrative support to the SVP, Entertainment Research & Decision Sciences for the Entertainment Networks ( *** , Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, Universal Kids, & USA) and serve as liaison with both internal constituents and external vendors. Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to generate and distribute reports and analyze viewership across age, gender, and other demographics, using both television ratings and digital data.

Responsibilities:

Support administrative needs of SVP, Entertainment Research & Decision Sciences by professionally answering phones, preparing all correspondence, expenses and travel arrangements, and coordinating calendars, including meetings and appointments
Assist in ongoing operations of the office/team, including ensuring conference rooms are coordinated and equipped to handle virtual/in-person hybrid meetings
Coordinate IT and facilities services for department, and order team office supplies as needed
Ideate, plan and execute on department events/experiences to drive team culture
Track and file Research department invoices, and manage department project budget
Facilitate RFP (request for proposal) process with research vendors

Manage, execute, and proofread research reports and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Talent Acquisition

Associate Manager, Post Production - Live

The Role

A successful candidate will be passionate and deeply knowledgeable about post production planning, management, logistics and have LIVE or live to tape post production experience on programming that has aired or streamed on major platforms, such as networks or large scale streaming platforms. They will be self-motivated, flexible, thorough, and capable of juggling multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization, communication, and unwavering attention to detail at all times. A priority to learn is key, as the LIVE slate is ever changing and requires the education of new technologies and practices within production and post production.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support the post partners through various processes during the setup and execution of the project such as guidance on vendors, disseminating information to the studio, and uploading deliverable materials

Collaborate effectively with internal operations & technical teams as well as other production associate managers to streamline workflows across all apps and content teams
Assist with identification and curation of experienced, high quality post production staff and crew
Participate in *** a testing proprietary apps while offering constructive feedback about the end user experience
Any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the LIVE department

Qualifications:

5+ years experience working in post production management at a network, production company, or vendor. The ideal candidate also has LIVE post production experience with programming that has aired or streamed on a major platform such as networks or large scale streaming platforms. Candidates will need to be at least a Post Production Supervisor level equivalent outside of *** .

Associate Manager, Post Production - Nonfiction Sports

The Role

Senior Financial Accounting Analysts are expected to use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. They solve complex problems, work independently, and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaboratively lead and project manage implementation of new business initiatives in subscription accounting systems, which involves requirement gathering, coordinating testing efforts across multiple Development teams and requires a strong understanding of GAAP accounting
Responsible for preparation of UAT and FIT testing support for new business initiatives
Support implementation of operational improvements by collaborating with the Development team to create and/or improve existing internal systems and processes
Support development and implementation of the new unified tech platform for streaming services
Responsible for revenue and cost monitoring in collaboration with the Development team and escalating issues independently
Assist with preparation of subscription revenue master data as needed
Assist with the creation and maintenance of process documentation for the subscription accounting cycle
Provide support for the annual financial statement audit, periodic internal audits, periodic programmer audits, and tax requests
Responsible for supporting the operational day-to-day accounting functions of our subscription business, including the preparation of month-end journal entries, reconciliations and preparing license fee calculations for our programming partners as needed
Support ad hoc analyses and projects

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
3 to 5 years accounting experience, Big Four public accounting firm preferred
CPA license preferred
Industry experience in *** and/or entertainment preferred

The hiring range for this position in California is $101,790.00 to $124,410.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
