At least 5 years of experience as a package producer with proven experience in the field, running story development and leading newsgathering efforts.
Must be an exceptional writer who can add, shape or develop scripts for digital or TV quickly and accurately
Extensive journalism experience is essential, including a strong background in writing, copy editing, and video production
Production experience in breaking news and feature reporting
Ability to shoot video and edit

Desired qualifications:

At least one year experience with all levels of desk operations, specifically in coordination of domestic and international correspondents.
Ability to multitask and perform at the highest levels under stress and tight deadlines
Teammate who is able to work with a diverse group of people
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $120,000.00 - 155,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
