The Digital Video Designer II is tasked with the creation and distribution of static and motion graphics across *** content on social and digital platforms. This role requires knowledge of digital *** distribution, content creation and brand development. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, creative, and a strong communicator. They will be self-motivated and constantly innovating their approach to content technically, tactically, and creatively.
This position is strongly preferred to be based in Bristol, CT but may be open to Los Angeles, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Create static and motion graphics that stand out in a social/digital environment
- Utilize the Adobe Creative Suite to produce innovative and high-end content that elevates *** 's productions
- Communicate effectively with the sales team and other *** entities to create sponsored elements and maintain a library of past elements
- Communicate effectively with managers and producers to update project timelines, report on progress, respond to feedback and deliver final elements
- Design thumbnail images for videos on *** 's YouTube channel that demonstrate effective design and an understanding of what is successful on the platform
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and stay in front of deadlines
- Ideate and collaborate with colleagues on new, innovative concepts
- Provide feedback to other editors on the team
- Accountable for strict adherence to established production department procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of sports, including current athletes, events and storylines
- Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, including at least some of: Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or: Cinema4D, Blendr
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
- Understanding of and appreciation for building brand identity through design
- Fluency in the YouTube *** scape and other digital and social platforms
- Familiarity with *** programming and platforms
- Understanding of and appreciation for audience analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years in multi *** content production or related experience
Required Education:
- High school diploma
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, broadcasting, communications, journalism or a closely related field

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $69,946 to $93,830 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
