Job Summary/Description:
****-TV is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant/Front Desk professional to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role involves working closely with our sales team and department heads, as well as serving as the primary point of contact for viewers and clients visiting or calling the television station.
Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
• Answering incoming calls and warmly greeting station guests
• Collaborating effectively with managers, coworkers, and clients to deliver exceptional service
• Inputting advertiser commercial instructions into the WideOrbit database with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to daily deadlines
• Accurately input advertiser commercial instructions into the WideOrbit database
• Maintain accuracy in the commercial, promo, and PSA database in WideOrbit Traffic
• Daily reconciliation of completed logs for billing purposes
• Basic order entry of TV and digital campaigns into the WideOrbit Traffic system
• Providing administrative support to managers and account executives
• Assisting with accounting tasks and supporting the office manager as needed
• Creating quarterly station newsletters
• Performing other support duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Previous clerical experience in an office setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong data entry skills
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to new tasks
• Customer ser *** experience with excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of working independently while also contributing to a team
• Dependable, punctual, and maintains a professional appearance
• Upholds a high level of confidentiality
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills -
• Experience with WideOrbit Traffic or similar traffic management software is desired but not required
