The Digital Producer provides digital production leadership, technical expertise, creative understanding, strategic planning, and fiscal accountability through each phase of production. This role is responsible for the scope, schedule, strategy, and budget for the *** Production department and the Digital Arts Studio, and responsible for establishing and maintaining the digital workflow and production methodology, in collaboration with other digital disciplines and stakeholders, based on the needs and creative vision of the project.

This position will report to the Executive, Digital and *** Production Studio.

This is a 30-month Project Hire position without any guarantee of permanent placement.

What You Will Do:

• Produce the digital *** imagery required for the resort or attraction from end to end - including pre-visualization, integrated experiential design, mockups, stagings, digital production, installation, final integration, and archive.
• Partner with the Production Accountant of the *** Production department to formulate budget estimate assumptions, track weekly costs, analyze trends, and mitigate financial risks.
• Evaluate the complexity of a project to develop and/or implement the appropriate strategy for its digital pipeline.
• Advise the Show Producer and the Show Manager on digital strategies to achieve the creative goals within the budget and schedule parameters.
• Facilitate, lead, and participate in project-related meetings!
• Establish digital workflow methodologies with the VFX Supervisor for delivery and archival plans, working with *** vendors and following the guidelines of the Digital Arts Studio and Tech Studio. This includes naming conventions, file structure, disk space management and render needs.
• Prepare the overall resource plan and schedule for the full production life cycle. This includes proposed crew roll-on/off dates, digital landmarks, review targets, and install plans using ShotGrid tracking software and/or other tracking tools.
• Bid each phase of work with the *** Production Accountant and get input from the Digital Arts Manager(s) and Tech Studio Leadership.
• Partner with the Figure Animation team and Show Programmers as needed on digital delivery schedule, asset naming conventions, and vendor delivery protocol.
• Collaborate with the Tech Studio to connect digital data and workflow techniques together across the different digital departments, and to promote the implementation of advances in tools and pipeline development, the setup of testing protocols, and the formal delivery pipeline.
• Partner with Show Systems Architecture and other digital divisions to facilitate the production of digital elements as required for pre-integration and final integration.
• Provide digital workflow and overall digital *** delivery strategy to the project planners.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Solid understanding of complex film and video digital *** technologies, processes, toolsets, vocabulary, production pipelines, and of the different digital fields within attractions and resorts.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to complete creative intent, motivate a team to achieve tasks and goals, and resolve co *** ict effectively.
• Proactive problem-solving approach to identifying risks and suggestions for mitigation.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal), presentation, and articulation skills. Ability to grasp and explain technical and digital concepts, workflows, and plans to a variety of audiences.
• Gaming industry producing, technical management, and theme park attraction integration a plus.
• Proficient in: MS Office, MS Project, Powerpoint, Shotgrid, Outlook, Google tools.
• Understanding of 2D and 3D software and design packages such as: Sketch Up, Maya, Revit, Rhino, Solidworks, Unreal, Unity, Motionbuilder, Photoshop, Bluebeam.
• 7+ Years preferred VFX production and studio experience, also preferably with live action set experience and/or major theme park attraction experience.
• Proven experience producing in a creative and digital pipeline including budgeting, scheduling, digital asset and artist management on a production, CG pipeline and toolset understanding.

Education:

The hiring range for this position in California is $112,100 - $150,200 per year. Field Producer, ***

The Field Producer brainstorms and pitches ideas, researches topics and works closely with reporter(s) to advance stories, break news and produce segments both in studio and in the field.

What you'll do:

• Working both independently and with reporters/anchors to produce original business news content, primarily for broadcast and additionally for digital and social.
• Production responsibilities may include research, conducting interviews, writing and editing, field producing and overseeing editing.
• Pitching story ideas and working on assigned stories developed by the editorial planning team.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with, and being knowledgeable of and current on companies in the universe of coverage.
• Communicating clearly with reporter and field production crews to determine best coverage plan and live remote locations.
• Maintaining all video/digital records, feed necessary and relevant video to bureau/headquarters, communicate to editors and/or desk producers how video should be cut/taken to air.
• Communicating with *** News desk editors on available live times, understanding and owning all live hit requests, disseminating hit times to reporter and team on the ground. In the bureau/studio, working with reporter on day-of-air hits. Locating all video needed whether it be in-house archival or acquired through shoots, satellite feeds, company hand-outs.
• Working with editors to create video elements for reporter live hits and produce packages, creating chyron elements in show rundowns, making sure all elements are done correctly.
• Alerting reporter to any time changes or timing issues with hit.

The Creative Development team is responsible for developing the initial creative approach to all content across *** Originals platforms. Together, this team is responsible for supervising all aspects of creative development for *** Originals. We are seeking a Development Producer to conceptualize and produce presentations, digital shorts, and sizzles. This role requires sharp attention to detail, meticulous organizational skills, and a passion for storytelling.

Candidates should possess technical and creative skills and demonstrable proficiency in shooting and editing-previous experience in developing and producing unscripted content is ideal.

We'll trust you to:

• Research series ideas and flesh out concepts based on talent, articles, or IP
• Produce, shoot and edit projects in the development pipeline. Support other departments with content needs.
• Travel required for some filming
• Work with talent bookers, producers, and directors as needed.
• Collaborate with our operations team to effectively create accurate estimates for projects, manage production budgets, monitor post-production processes, and track deliverables.
• Identify and source third party/archival footage as needed

You'll need to have:

• 7+ years experience in unscripted/documentary television development and production
• Experience operating cameras, lighting equipment, audio, and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro). Can shoot and edit sizzles, rip reels and development presentations
• Able to work well in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers and ensure all necessary parties are kept up to date
• Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• A self-starter who can take direction, working both independently and collaboratively as necessary, communicating regularly and effectively development team
• Strong research skills and a deep understanding of what makes a compelling story
• Experience working with talent. Able to produce and direct talent for studio and field shoots
