We are looking for a skilled gaffer to join our team for a small documentary project. The ideal candidate should have experience in lighting both indoor and outdoor scenes. As a gaffer, you will be responsible for creating the desired lighting effects and setting up the equipment for each scene. This includes positioning lights, adjusting their intensity, and enhancing the overall look and mood of the footage.

Skills required:
- Experience in gaffing for documentaries
- Proficient in lighting setups for indoor and outdoor scenes
- Knowledge of different lighting techniques and equipment
- Ability to collaborate with the director and cinematographer to achieve the desired visual style

Looking for a Grip / PA a corporate shoot. Very small grip/lighting package. DP is very hands on with all lighting aspects and grip He just needs a little help in the grip department. This is for a corporate video, small 3-person crew.

We are shooting a short film, "I HAVE SOME THOUGHTS," written and directed by Taylor Engel.

Taylor’s visually stunning short, "THE PAVEMENT," was featured on HBO's Project Greenlight. He has worked with filmmakers such as Rian Johnson, Barry Jenkins, and Paul Thomas Anderson, creatively directing and editing their film marketing campaigns.

"I HAVE SOME THOUGHTS" is a character study that explores its protagonist's often humorous obsessive-compulsive thoughts with the gripping tension of a 70s paranoid thriller. The film promises to be both artful and darkly funny, akin to "Limitless" meets "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
It’s a super low-budget, independent film to be submitted to major film festivals.

In search of a Gaffer with a minimum 1-ton package, local to or willing to work as a local to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This shoot will be for a feature documentary, including (1) interview day (which will require lighting units and grip gear). The interview day will have Grip support, but b-roll days may require our Gaffer to work solo as our footprint must remain light.

The documentary's subject matter is neurodiversity/neurosensitivity, and we will feature those from within the community. The individuals participating have kindly offered to share their stories, and we seek to celebrate them while telling honest and informative stories.

A little about our team: our team values individuals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and we foster a welcoming environment for all. Particularly for this documentary about neurodiversity/neurosensitivity, we encourage those from within the community to apply - we welcome those who can bring a more specific perspective to the team.

We will be conducting video-conference interviews to discuss the specific needs of this production in greater detail.

Rate is for 12 hours, plus a negotiable kit fee for gear

Looking for energetic, hard working team members to help out with a very small crew, indie budget music video shoot. Looking for people willing to help out on all aspects of the production, able to lift and carry heavy equipment, and be willing and eager to chip in with whatever needs to be done to have the production run smoothly.

We are producing a spec music video for an unreleased country song, and are seeking a Gaffer to work with our Director/DoP to light a single location with 2 major setups. We will be filming a one day, docu-style commercial for the medicine Fintepla in Waterford, MI. We need a gaffer who can create natural, bright images for a pharma shoot. We also need the gaffer to provide their own equipment, which we would pay a kit rental fee for. The shoot will be on June 15th for a full day.

The range depends both on experience/rates and also cost of kit rentals.
