The Global Scale Services (GSS) team at *** is an operationally-driven team of designers, video editors, digital producers, QA specialists and operations managers responsible for creating and delivering high volumes of digital assets. GSS is seeking a Video Editor with the ability to deliver engaging high-end video assets of theatrical-level movie and series trailers, short form content for social channels, broadcast and online spots and brand-specific spots. As a Video Editor, you have hands-on experience working with video editing and motion graphics software, where you create and deliver the final cut yourself. You will collaborate with our marketing teams, *** global brand, and cross-functional teams to create dynamic and engaging video content across a variety of executions.
Key job responsibilities
The candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of audio and video editing processes and software, specifically for theatrical-level movie and series trailers, along with experience in digital marketing at fast-paced environments. Additionally, this candidate should have a keen eye for detail, and an excellent ability to communicate.
• Create engaging high-quality video assets that meet the creative brief, internal guidelines and specific requirements.
• Present work to key stakeholders for review, feedback, and approval.
• Collaborate with marketing stakeholders, A/V producers and quality specialists to ensure high standards of video editing, brand consistency and customer experience.
• Communicate video editing rational in a clear, open, and fluent manner with internal partners.
• Excel at the principals of design, color theory, typography, video graphics, video editing, audio manipulation, subtitles and file creation optimized for digital *** .
• Work across numerous projects with competing deadlines and effectively prioritize deliverables.
• Be a passionate storyteller who is committed to producing great work with high attention to details.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- • Online portfolio or demo reel link in the resume showcasing previous video editing work. • 3 to 5+ years of experience as a video editor in a creative agency or similar creative production environment. • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in fields related to Video Editing, Audiovisual Production or an equally strong and relevant portfolio of work. • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, 3 to 5+ years of professional experience working with these tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. • Knowledge of A/V production workflows, particularly short-form or promotional content like trailers, ad units, etc. • Knowledgeable on A/V video formats (such as .mxf, .dnx, ProRes, H.264, .mov, .mp4), subtitle formats (.itt, .srt) artwork formats (.psd, .jpeg, .png), aspect ratios, frame rates, conversions, and codecs. • Proficient spoken, written and conversational English communication skills (C1 minimum, 90%). • Able to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. • Strong time management skills and team-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. • Knowledge of basic captioning and localization processes (i.e. implementation and timing of subtitles and dubbed audio tracks). • Experience with working within Digital Asset Management Systems, naming conventions, file management and working files archival processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- • Knowledge in sound design, mixing and mastering in Adobe Audition, Avid Pro Tools or Logic Pro is a plus. • International QC and encoding for Digital, OOH and Broadcasting Specs experience is a plus. • Knowledge working with audio stems for sound mixing and mastering in Adobe Premiere Pro (Stereo, 5.1 and Multi-channel). • Experience in Motion graphics (After Effects presets, templates and graphic design for motion) • Strong written, verbal and conversational communication as well as collaborative skills. • Thinks big. • Has relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo). • Entertainment-focused editing experience, preferably theatrical. • Is able to dive deep and is never out of touch with the details of the business or the technology. • Collaboration with peers, partners and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, cohesive deliverables through the entire video editing process. • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
