*** Universal, in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, is home to the *** Prep team which is a group of innovative and highly skilled technicians that oversee the inbound and outbound digital delivery of *** Universal content. The *** Prep team is responsible for ensuring content is sourced, prepared and fulfilled to numerous outlets including Broadcast Television, Digital Downloads, Video On Demand, Web Video, International Clients and more. In this role you will be part of a 24x7 highly motivated team that supports the fulfillment of *** content across all of *** Universal's distribution outlets.

About The Role:

As a *** Prep Technician,you will be responsible for a hybrid skillset that encompasses all aspects of the digital supply chain: source content QC, basic editing, transcoding, and delivery to clients all around the world. This role requires focus and determination to execute and distribute assets properly and in a timely manner while maintaining the department goal of 99.999% reliability and availability.

Duties & Responsibilitites:

• High resolution quality control of *** U longform content, QC consists of ensuring all technical aspects are exact and meet FCC/ *** U specifications
• Baseband/linear ingest of *** U content across all networks for on-air, VOD, and/or *** distribution
• Perform edit and prep functions within an NLE platform to produce and distribute content
• Work in various *** Asset Management (MAM) systems with a strong understanding of video and audio specifications
• Submit various forms of content into transcoding technical stack in order to meet client's requirements
• Reconciliation of executed work orders to ensure business needs are met

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a broadcast, post production, or digital *** prep environment.
• 1+ year prior experience working with digital *** file types such as QuickTime, MXF, MPEG, Mp4, etc.

Job Summary:

Safety and Security officers are responsible for facility safety and security, to include monitoring state of the art security consoles, pedestrian and vehicular traffic, security tours, exterior/interior video surveillance, fire systems and communications control. Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Facilities Project Manager (FPM) will be responsible to handle both large and small-scale projects within the *** Universal real estate portfolio in NY and NJ.

The successful candidate will work with other members of the Operations and Technology (O&T) team to ensure that deliverables are within the applicable scope of work and budget. Project will include general tenant improvement project and technical project supporting broadcast operations for various clients.

The FPM will lead each project from inception through closeout and will be responsible for the following items:

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party consultants, vendors and contractors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within budget
• With the help of internal subject matter experts, manage the creation of the Project Charter that defines the of scope of work, project schedule and project objectives
• Manage changes in the project scope of work and schedule and confirm that such changes are acceptable within the O&T project master plan
• Coordinate with the *** U Sourcing department and manage the selection of consultants, contractors and vendors required for the project
• Report and escalate issues that could affect the project to O&T management team
• Manage the relationship *** ween internal and third-party resources
• Assemble documents and presentation required to achieve approval of the project scope of work. Verify that the items being presented are with the project budget and can be delivered within the project schedule
• Track and report on the Anticipated Cost for the project compared to the project budget
• Chair weekly project coordination meetings. Distribute minutes of the meeting noting project status and items that need to be accomplished noting people that are responsible for to complete the task
• Manage and approve the incorporation of construction activities into the *** U Work Flow schedule
• Develop, track and monitor project cash flow for the design, construction and fit-out of the project
• Review consultant, contractor and vendor invoices and verify that the amounts requested are acceptable and represent the status of completed work
• Review contractor applications for payment and verify that amounts requested represent work in place for the project
• Receive and review partial and final release of lien documents for payments made to the General Contractor and to subcontractors as shown on the application for payment
• Develop interim schedule milestone dates for specific deliverables. Track and monitor status of these milestones through the delivery of the project
• Partner with Client Ser *** Leaders (CSL)to develop swing plans as required to implement the project scope of work
• Coordinate with the CSL to facilitate the move(s) as required for the project
• Manage the close-out of the project including the creation of punch lists, managing completion and sign-off of these punch lists, receiving close-out document from contractors and vendors and the sign-off of all administrative agency permits and applications
• Ensure that all documents are filed and maintained in the O&T shared project filing system

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years working experience in owner's representation project management role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Able to handle multiple project of various sizes simultaneously

Basic Qualifications:

• Understand energy managements systems and operators
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems

Preferred Qualifications:

JOB DESCRIPTION
Hands on operation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and heating systems, fire prevention equipment including fire and house pumps, standpipes, sprinkler systems, knowledge of Class E fire alarm system, control panel (FCS) and portable fire extinguishers, compressor banks, BMS, AHUs, VAVs, boilers, pumps, VFDs, Generators, domestic water tower, pressure tanks, inergen fire suppression, water heater, dampers, actuators, chillers and cooling tower operations. Plumbing experience working on sinks, toilets and urinals will also be required. Supervise external vendors for large equipment repairs.

Must communicate well with management on all current and outstanding issues. Organizing and prioritizing work orders, experience with Outlook and Building Management systems. Must have knowledge of water treatment procedures for all closed/open loop and house water systems. Individual must be certified as an Operating Engineer possessing both Refrigeration of FDNY COF Q-01/99 and CFC Licenses; and the standpipe/sprinkler S-12 & S-13 COFs; other FDNY certificates a plus; must have at least 3-5 years' experience in HVAC plant operations and plumbing experience; must be able to work flexible hours and various shifts including overnight. The current available shift is a swing shift consisting of weekday and weekends 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am. Candidate will be required to join I.U.O.E. Local 30 union.

Production Operations at Televisa *** is looking for a Camera Operator, Jib to join our team!

Responsible for the building, operations and general maintenance of the Jib Camera. Operator must provide creative, fluid movement of the camera on multi-camera productions for News, Sports and Entertainment studio shows. The Camera Operator, Jib will report to the Production Operations Supervisor.

YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

• Create smooth fluid movements of the camera to enhance the production value of each. program. Must be able to pan and tilt camera as well as swing the crane through space.
• Maintain stable framing without extraneous movement on all axis.
• Setup, balance, troubleshoot, and maintain crane and associated equipment.
• Operator controls zoom and focus of lens. Good sense of visual composition.
• Take direction well and work as a team player.
• Operate in a safe and controlled manner to minimize injury to self or others as well as any damage to equipment or property.
• Ability to follow a rundown.

YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in television production or equivalent work experience.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• 3-5 years of experience in control room broadcast facility.
• Physical ability to swing and stop camera boom of up to 40 feet while carrying a camera. load of up to 45 pounds as well as the crane itself and the associated counterweights.
• Perform well under pressure and breaking news situations.
• Physical ability to lift equipment and counterweights up to 50 pounds.
• Agility to move at a rapid pace as production needs may require
• Provide creative input, e.g., assists the Director/ Producer in creating the look of a show, including set design; suggests alternate shots; etc.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• As this position supports 24x7 operation, candidate must, in addition to being able to work regular hours, have on-call availability, and flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed and without advance notice. Additionally, candidate may be required to work on site for extended periods of time to provide coverage in special circumstances, such as, during tropical storm/hurricane.
