Looking for an editor/assistant editor to help finish a feature length film. Candidate will be tasked with becoming extremely familiar with footage and becoming the go to resource for the Director and primary editor as the team finishes up the editing process. Candidate will be pulling selects, putting together assemblies, and potentially doing some alternate versions of pre-cut scenes. This position has elements of an assistant editor but isn't limited to the organizational aspects.

- Must be completely proficient with Adobe Premiere. Should be able to identify and fix problems as they arise.

- Must have attention to detail and take great notes.

- Must be willing to be flexible and open to thinking creatively.

- Experience in After Effects a big plus.

This is a more entry level position but can quickly move to a full time / higher rate for the right candidate. There is a ton of room for growth in the post side as well as production side of the company.

Work will happen almost entirely remotely but maybe require some travel within Colorado and to other states.

Start date is flexible.

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

Pay Range
Salary: $62,400 - $77,520
