ASSOCIATE PRODUCER (AP)

Intel Sports is an exciting, dynamic, and creative team within the Intel ecosystem. Our immersive experiences let fans watch sports in ways they otherwise couldn’t. We’re taking fans inside the game. In this role you would contribute to the Content Unit team that produces immersive media for our clients using our True View technology. Our technology allows us to capture and create immersive video that allows users to interact with real-time or pre-recorded content. Our product has been used for Olympic Games and major leagues such as, but not limited to; NFL, NBA, La Liga and EPL.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Content Unit team is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Associate Producer (AP), in Las Vegas. The AP will be responsible for controlling the hardware and software of the True View system for content creation and delivery to our clients, including but not limited to our live sporting events. This is a contracted position via Intel’s third-party contractor, XLT- Program Productions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Extensive storytelling background
• Knowledge of sports remote production, workflows, and broadcasting operations
• Knowledge of NFL culture and current standings. Ability to create compelling and short form content & storylines
• 2 years of broadcast television production experience, preferably in live sports production
• Experienced with audio/video signal flows
• Understands the technical side of cameras and can troubleshoot when necessary
• Familiar and comfortable working with computers, both hardware and software
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• Willing to travel (if needed) to venues in various cities in order to perform duties
• Availability to cover all assigned home games (game day), as well as set day (day prior to scheduled game day) This includes but not limited to weekend and Holiday games.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours, nights, weekends and holidays when needed
• Previous experience as an editor, camera, graphics, EVS operator, or other production roles preferred.
• Able to work at heights, on ladders, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• True View point of contact with inhouse broadcast team, RSN, and/or National broadcast production team; including the Director, Producer, and Engineering teams
• Create compelling content delivered to clients via baseband or digital media by operating the True View virtual camera system during events.
• Ensure cameras are always operational and troubleshoot if camera issues persist
• Handle site inventory/RMA as part of the Pre- and Post- events.
• Work with and support the site True View Systems Technician (ST), during an event and between events to maintain the system.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED: Associates, BA, BS degree or higher in Communications or related field
