Title: Technical Producer & Broadcast Engineer
Reports to: Executive Producer
Location: Las Vegas, NV

Job Description
• supervising engineering staff and crew to satisfy production needs while acting the technical producer and lead engineer
• delivering broadcasts, content and live streams from any location in the world, remote, or in-studio
• formulating and managing show production workflows
• maintaining company broadcast technology and equipment including, but not limited to:
o updates and compatibility,
o device and peripherals, and
o upgrades/equipment needs
• creating a schedule of preventive and routine maintenance
• preparing and conducting engineering checklists and venue site visits
• ensuring a Technical Book is created for each show
• working with the creative team to ensure show design and tech needs meet and do not exceed studio or venue resources
• collaborating with team members to determine optimal budgets staff required to deliver a clean technical show
• working with venues for location, tech and venue scouting
• leading and ensuring all aspects of show engineering is set up on time and working properly for the first scheduled technical rehearsal
• testing and verifying stream or content destinations
• working with the project managers, production manager and producers to ensure the proper amount of crew and time is allotted for shows
• summarizing and presenting Technical information in both verbal and written form
• working with vendors on any equipment purchase or tech rental needs
• Developing a deep understanding of our control room and remote workflow technologies
• proactively identifying and troubleshooting any broadcast issues
• obtaining OSHA 30 certification within fifteen (15) days after hire and maintaining company OSHA records and reporting
• Any other duties as assigned
• Familiarity with Ross video products essential
