Job Description:
This role will help to provide technical support for design, upgrades, system administration, maintenance and failure recovery for Broadcast operations. This candidate will support all aspects of our operation and master control including playback automation system; storage for all programs and commercial spots; help maintain relationships between master control, Ingest, control room, Studio-News, Traffic and Sales; support and help manage all studio equipment, camera switchers, graphics, ENG, and the set and lighting. IT responsibilities will include assist in maintenance and replacement of all computers and servers, updating software, virus control, all network communication internal and external to the plant.

Key Projects:
- 24/7 responsibility for integrity of automation and broadcast IT infrastructure supporting origination.
- Maintenance and repair of all technical equipment in studio, pre-& post production and MCR operation.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent degree required
- 1-2 years experience working in studio engineering
- Solid working knowledge of PC and Apple computers, MS Windows, OSX and related software.
- Solid working knowledge of networks, routers, MS operating systems and application software such as Word and Excel.

Job Description

The Broadcast Engineer - Post-Productionwill report to the Sr. Director, Production Engineering.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the smooth operation of Post-Production for the facility acting as front-line support, trouble shooting and technical diagnosis.
Responsible for confirming that equipment used in the Post-production process works properly.
Works with external providers to resolve technical and workflow issues with provided equipment and systems.
Implementation of a routine preventative maintenance program, including software and hardware updates.
Installing Audio and Video equipment
Regulates, documents and implements procedures
Responsible for the support of both Live and Post-Production operations within the facility. Will be exposed to Pro Tools, Screening Rooms, Edits, Graphics, and EVS.
Passionate about the Post-Production process, excited by new technologies and opportunities and ready to help develop and improve the existing process and infrastructure.
Proficient at communicating problems and solutions to technical and non-technical personnel
Will help develop new processes, technologies, and techniques, which will help improve the facility

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Minimum two (2) years of experience with technical support of a Post-Production Facility or operation.
BS degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Experience with Avid PAM Interplay backend support & maintenance, 2 years minimum
Experience with Avid Post-Production environments including Avid *** Composer

Job Description

The Production/ Broadcast Engineer will report to the Sr. Director, Production Engineering. This person will provide front line broadcast engineering and technical support across several *** and control rooms. The main duties of this position include supporting all broadcast systems and technology within the Stamford Sports facility for day of air live programs, troubleshooting of broadcast hardware and systems, complying with computer security policies as well as handling a project load which includes system design, integration, and system commissioning. Responsibilities:

Perform system level troubleshooting of technical facilities, including, but not limited to, control rooms, studio equipment, audio equipment, and computer systems associated with those areas.

Assist Studio Operations with control room and studio technical setup.

Responsibilities

Installation and maintenance of video and audio equipment, cameras, switchers, and EAS equipment

Assist in the maintenance of high-power UHF transmitters
Provide support for the technical needs of the News Department and Master Control operations
PC hardware/software support of on-site workstations
Conduct Live Event site surveys and assist in Live Event productions
Manage vehicle fleet maintenance
Occasional facility maintenance tasks, especially a basic knowledge of HVAC, UPS, and backup power generators
Provide budget information to support the implementation of new systems
