JOB DESCRIPTION: Boston, MA based part-time Stringer/Field Researcher will go to the Boston courthouse to research information contained in pending small claims cases. As a stringer, you will be looking for interesting and compelling small claims cases that our show can produce for daytime television. In some instances, you may need to drive a good distance to and from courts. Driving time is paid for, and mileage is reimbursed. Responsibilities

• Tell the market's weather stories in a way that connects and informs viewers.
• Develop innovative and creative ways of presenting the daily weather story, with an emphasis on accuracy and integrity of data.
• Produce weather graphics and analyze data from the National Weather Ser *** as well as other meteorological sources.
• Work with the producers and news team to create complete coverage of weather. Also prepare and post forecasts for multiple platforms.
• Some live reporting and attendance at community and weather-related events will be required.
• Use of social *** daily and especially during severe events.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

One to two year experience as a television presenter.
Degree in meteorology preferred or commitment to obtain the degree within a contractual time period
Technologically savvy with strong computer skills (working knowledge of WSI system and WSI 3D graphics preferred.)
Spanish- Native or Bilingual Proficiency (spoken and written)
