Background- We are a new company that works with brands to create interactive video experiences at their events. We utilize local camera operators and our own proprietary software to create branded videos that event attendees can share on social media. The Gig- We need a camera operator with his/her own equipment to set up a camera at a brand activation event. This is a fairly easy gig as we'd need the camera to remain on a tripod for the entire event. You'd be responsible for making sure that the image quality is great. We'd expect you to remain with our crew in case adjustments to the setup are needed.
The Gear- We are requesting that a RED DSMC2 camera or a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6k as they work best with our automated "live event" workflow. We'd prefer to have a full setup with matte box. You'll also need enough power/battery or an AC Power solution. The lens options should be between 18-35 mm.
Time- Actual shoot is from 3pm - 6pm but we'd need you on-site for setup at 1pm.
Attire- "Crew Professional" All Black. (No ripped jeans, sagging pants, etc).
Special consideration will be given to a camera operator who can bring and setup lighting. (Need to light an 8x8 backdrop and the subject). Possible repeat booking opportunity.
