A leading Los Angeles-based production company is seeking a Development Manager. The ideal candidate lives, breathes and is passionate about developing all different genres of unscripted programming and short form content. While we are a collaborative team, the candidate must be able to spearhead concepts, work independently and juggle multiple projects at a time.
What you’ll do:
-- Develop, research and pitch original unscripted and short-form digital series ideas
-- Create and edit pitch materials from beginning to end
-- Discover new talent, stories, and subcultures
Skills & Qualifications:
-- Previous experience at a production company or network
-- Must be incredibly flexible and thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment
-- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-- An assertive self-starter who is also a team player
-- A stellar idea generator/innovative thinker
-- Passion for digital media and deep understanding of social platforms
-- Knowledge of current marketplace trends
-- Must be well-versed in PowerPoint and Keynote
-- Ability to edit stringouts in Avid
-- Strong sense of graphic design is a plus
