A New York based production company is looking for an experienced candidate to join our unscripted development team to aid and assist in expanding our slate. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability and strong desire to ideate new concepts and pitch new talent that reflects an understanding of the unscripted TV landscape and its current trends. Ideal candidate can juggle multiple projects and casting searches, and can also execute on pitch materials: both written and video.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience at a well regarded network, cable network or digital production company (or equivalent) with a proven track record of generating and developing original ideas as well as identifying new talent
- Experience developing male-skewing contact is a requirement and your application will not be considered without it
- Excellent writing skills, a working knowledge of TV formats and how to communicate them on paper
- Experience coordinating and overseeing physical production for development shoots is preferred
- Basic editing and shooting skills are a plus, but by no means a requirement. However, candidates will be tasked with working with our in-house development editor on video materials, so the ability to script and concept sizzle materials and communicate them to our editor is a must.
- Superior organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with multiple and changing priorities.
