The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of visual storytelling, with the ability to deliver compelling imagery within budgetary constraints. You should have proven experience in a variety of shooting conditions, have previously shot one or more feature films, a creative eye for framing and lighting, and a collaborative spirit to work closely with the director and production team.

Also, you will be working with a VFX Supervisor for certain shots as this is a science fiction project.

I'm a music video director looking for a Los Angeles-based DP to film a fun road trip-themed music video shoot in Santa Monica and Malibu on 5/16. It's pretty run and gun with a skeleton crew, so would like to bring someone who owns and operates a komodo/bmpcc6kpro/fx3/fx6 + ronin rs3 pro setup or similar. A rig that we can smoothly switch from gimbal to handheld to tripod as needed. ND filter would be crucial as well. Budget for DP is between 500-600 for the day. I can provide the following gear if needed: bounce and neg material, sachtler flowtech legs, heavy duty shoulder rig, teradek/directors monitor, and a DZOfilm Vespid prime set in PL and EF mount. But let me know what gear you own and we can figure it out from there.

For this project you will be recording an interview with our client and capturing b-roll, and also be responsible for setting up lights, running audio, and operating a teleprompter. We really are looking for someone who can do it all.
