We are a full-service events company based in New Jersey and operating in the New York City/Tri-State Area. We are looking for an experienced driver to work in our NJ shop 40 hours++ weekly. Our jobs range from small private events to large multi-truck load-ins, from 24’ box trucks to tractor-trailers

Requirements:

Must have a valid CDL A driver license .

Must have a clean records abstract dating back at least four (4) years

Must be eligible to obtain a DOT medical certificate for commercial vehicle operator

Must be comfortable operating a vehicle (24 foot box trucks to 53 ft trailers) in & around NYC

Experience in safely loading trucks

Able to meet the needs of a physically demanding job – loading/unloading trucks, pushing cases, lifting goods (up to 75 lbs) & equipment, etc.

Must value good communication and follow-through

Punctuality is key

Responsibilities

Driver’s tasks will include, but are not limited to:

Adhering to management guidelines for Driver Communication Requirements

Following all traffic and parking laws including commercial vehicle stipulations

Responsible for contents of truck and how it arrives

Driver is responsible for safe arrival of load whenever the vehicle is moving.

Make sure all cargo is secured properly

Supervise, advise and assist in loading the vehicle

Be within sightlines of cargo compartment of vehicle for duration of load-in and load-out

Make sure proper safety and logistic equipment is on hand to protect the load and the vehicle and use the equipment appropriately

Report all pertinent info back to supervisor – traffic violations, parking tickets, accidents, damage to vehicle, damage to content, crew or personnel misconduct in/around the vehicle

Drivers are expected to assist in shop labor, prepping and de-prepping gear, packing trucks at our principal warehouse between runs.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Job Summary:

The Oiler-Truck Driver position performs functions that include operating a fuel truck to provide fueling services, lubrication support, oil analysis, and tire repairs for vehicles and equipment. This position provides direct support to all *** land® Resort departments that operate vehicles, motorized equipment, and for Attractions that require routine-lubrication work!

Responsibilities:

Fueling ser *** of automotive equipment: Operate fuel trucks and dispense gasoline, diesel, and CNG (compressed natural gas). Record fuel meter readings and contain/clean up any fuel spills as they occur.

Lubrication Support: Perform lubrication services using oils, greases, and filters when servicing automotive vehicles, gear boxes, atomizers, bearings, chains, and other types of equipment. Record meter readings for assets on a utilization maintenance schedule. Take oil samples when required for oil analysis. Understand the fundamentals of lubrication.

Tire Work: Operate tire changing machines, balancers, lifts, jacks, impacts, and torque wrenches to repair tires. Knowledge needed to recognize tire wear and to find leaks!
