Condé Nast Entertainment is looking for an Executive Producer of Branded Content for our Culture Division, which includes Wired, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Teen Vogue, and Pitchfork. This role is freelance to start, with the opportunity to convert to a staff position for the right person. Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and production for branded content video at the Culture Division, especially in the categories of Media-Entertainment, Business Finance & Technology, Vice/Spirits, Auto and Luxury.
- Oversee production of all branded content video programs, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Serve as the critical connection point for clients, agencies, sales, marketing, and editorial.
- Develop proactive initiatives to fuel growth of the branded video business at various budget levels, through scalable, industry-leading offerings.
- Lead the production conversation during RFP responses in Pre-sale. Develop pre-sale programs in collaboration with Strategy and Creative stakeholders.
- Represent the Condé Nast branded video team in client pitch meetings and presentations.
- Manage and mentor a small team of Producers and Associate Producers while maintaining a roster of trusted freelancers.
- Approve budgets, schedules, and all deliverables. Manage internal and client reviews.
- Foster a collaborative relationship between our brands, Production Management, Branded Video Strategy, Creative Development and Publishing.

Requirements
- 10+ years experience in Branded Content programs at a publisher, agency, or production company, including 3+ years as Executive Producer, Head of Production or Line Producer.
- Experienced in the production of digital long-form video, social-first campaigns, influencer-led executions, and familiar with other platform or program executions such as Experiential, digital articles and still photography.
- Experienced in both Pre-sale pitching and Post-sale execution.
- Extensive knowledge of the branded content industry.
- Must be highly conversant in the marketing objectives of branded content and how a campaign’s performance ties to KPI’s.
- Strong communication skills, in-person & remotely. Ability to foster relationships across a complex and matrixed organization.
- Positive attitude and collaborative style. Ability to juggle many concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong grasp of production finance, legal, and accounting.
- Comfortable leading 360 programs that require creative thinking and execution across multiple platforms. Must demonstrate expertise in video, film, or broadcast production, and be conversant in complementary forms such as experiential, social, digital articles, and still photography.

Help coordinate special projects

Manage and mentor staff and monitor staff development
Conduct annual reviews
Oversee staff calendar/backup roles
