The Art Director will work closely with the Creative Director to create materials that properly bring to life all the brands in the Dotdash *** Lifestyle Group including *** ter Homes & Gardens, REAL SIMPLE, AllRecipes, Magnolia Journal, Southern Living, Midwest Living, Dotdash *** Travel Marketing, D2C and SIM's.

II. Essential Job Functions

Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

• Develop, design and support the Design Director in the creation of advertising/marketing assets including presentations, sell sheets, print ads, digital ads, event collateral, micro-sites, e-blasts, mockups, etc.

• Collaborate with project managers and work on multiple projects simultaneously, keeping creative files organized and accessible to the wider team

• Apply expertise in creativity and organization to work quickly and efficiently, meeting deadlines and ensuring deliverables are in line with expectations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field; or equivalent training and/or experience.

Experience:

• 7-10 years working for a magazine brand that also has a web/digital presence.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Solid typographic/layout design skills with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members
• Efficient time management and organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Skilled in Keynote, Powerpoint, and Google Suite
• Experience managing designers and/or multiple vendors and players to bring concepts to life.
• Highly capable of managing multiple work streams and priorities with internal and external constituents.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to translate creative design into practical business solutions.
• Mastery of most recent versions of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Basic video, animation, or 3D modeling a plus (Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Dimension).
• Extreme attention to detail and consistency of work.

Pay Range
Salary: $94,850 - $135,500

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash *** 's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives. The Position

*** is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative conceptual design leader to oversee visual storytelling, art and design creative across the Brand and Partnerships teams. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the next phase of the *** Brand and create a brand belief system that will shape decisions across the company and build long-lasting emotional connections with consumers.

As the Art Director, you will be responsible for collaborating with a team of designers (both internally + externally) and partner with freelance ADs to develop and execute on the master brand positioning and strategy. You'll give the conceptual brand work visual life and ensure all shipped work is on-brief, on-brand and on-time.

You'll not only lead the art direction of 360, brand-centric campaigns that will drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention across all the channels but create and foster genuine brand love for *** .

This role will partner closely with its Brand Creative, Brand Marketing and Partnerships counterparts to maximize the impact of marketing opportunities through breakthrough, brand-defining creative. The team will also work with a growing list of best-in-class external brand partners to create the most impactful, compelling and talked about collaborations and activations in entertainment that will allow *** to unlock new channels and engage with new audiences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience designing for in-house or studio/agency partner teams; link to online portfolio of work that showcases your unbridled design passion required
• A deep design background, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in concept and entertainment design, typography, layout, form, motion design and composition
• Experience collaborating with and designing for creative marketing campaigns with best-in-class Brand partners. You've designed for screens, live events, social, merch and multi *** spaces.
• A proven history of designing breakthrough 360 campaigns across all platforms and inspiring work for a challenger brand in order to differentiate in a crowded marketplace.
• Direct experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional partners ( *** , marketing, creative ops), internal creatives (CDs, writers, producers) and external agency partners. You understand how to design for two distinct brand identities in a unified way ( *** + External Partner)

The Plasterer 200 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to plastering normal finishes and simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, brick, stone wood). The removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt. This will include shop work, field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment of. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and use normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering, all maintenance teams including attractions, ride and show, and infrastructure facilities.

The Plasterer 755 is responsible to perform functions that include but are not limited to model and mold making (fiberglass and silicone), fiberglass repair, and manufacturing and casting parts in materials such as urethanes, epoxies and resins. Those in this position may also include the removal and installation of tile brick pavers, concrete and asphalt, the fabrication of MACON parts and the repair and refurbishment of character heads. This will include shop work, as well as field and rehab work ranging from construction to the intricacies of the refurbishment or model making. It requires the ability to read blue prints, follow engineering instructions and the use of normal hand tools and power tools. This position provides support to Engineering and all maintenance teams including Attractions, Ride and Show, and Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

The Plasterer 200 role is responsible to:

• Have the ability to safely use and maintain basic hand tools, to operate pneumatic and electric powered tools utilizing the proper safety precautions including personal protective equipment, and the ability to operate a man lift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, and both gas and electric powered carts
• To read blueprints and follow engineering instructions. The ability to use or learn to use MAXIMO (a work order tracking system), as well as to follow check lists to safely handle materials, lock-out and tag-out of attractions, operate department equipment and vehicles and know what actions to take in case of a failure
• To remove and repair cement, pavers, asphalt and tile, are required to possess a basic knowledge of how to handle and use molds and models (preferable knowledge of how to fabricate molds and models), and must possess the ability to plaster and apply or carve in the plaster simulated finishes (i.e., rock work, wood, stone, brick, etc.)
• Have the ability to operate a manlift, forklift, scissors lift, truck, bicycle and both gas and electric powered carts

The Plasterer 755 role is responsible to:

• Be able to safely use and maintain basic hand tools
• Have the ability to operate pneumatic and electric-powered tools using the proper safety precautions including personal protective equipment

• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Able to read, interpret and follow checklists, written procedures and/or processes.
• Familiar with or have the ability to learn the Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Excellent communicator (express technical ideas, exchange information with WDI personnel, management, and other Cast Members)
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Plasterer 755:

• Experience making and using molds (fiberglass and silicone) highly preferred
• Experience making models
• Experience plastering, applying or carving simulated finishes in plaster (i.e., rock work, wood, stone, brick, etc.)
• Ability to work with fine and sensitive character heads while performing repairs or rehabs
