Prominent show filming around Austin, TX with an extremely closed set at all times. Seeking a Location/Production Assistant to oversee security protocols. Duties include surveying crew members to ensure proper display of security badges/markers, coordinating all set visits both personal and professional, coordinating with security company, Locations and Production to ensure total compliance with all aspects of maintaining a closed set.
This position reports to the Location Manager as well as directly to the the Producer.
Security experience preferred but not required.
Meals provided on-set by catering. $800 per week for 12 hour days (30 minutes provided for lunch, time and a half paid for overtime). No mileage/gas reimbursement for commutes to set, but mileage is provided at $0.58 per mile for off-set runs.
Must have experience using a walkie talkie/transceiver on a film set, must have very flexible hours with wide-open availability during the week, and must have a good attitude, discretion, and impeccable work ethic.
