Must live and breathe short vertical formats, be extremely comfortable with scrappy one-person production yet have a strong sense of art direction, and possess a talent for pitching, writing, and identifying relevant micro-content hidden in our other work.

Experience editing vertical video both in-platform (Instagram, for example) or out-of-platform (Capcut, for example) as well as phone shooting is essential. Aesthetically pleasing handwriting, good sketching ability, and knowledge of the preK-12 education space are pluses. Must also have the patience and diligence for video curation and willingness to dig deep for the gold.

Job Summary/Description:

*** TV’s *** News Bureau located in Atlanta is looking for a Bilingual News Producer/Anchor to join their award-winning news team. The ideal candidate will be dynamic on and off-air and possess an innate desire to inform and empower the community in various markets across the Southeast. Candidate must be able to write, produce, and present news for a variety of newscasts in different markets and digital platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

- Write and produce a variety of newscasts in different markets and digital platforms
- Perform line-producing duties for newscasts and shows
- Fill-in anchor as needed, write scripts, create elements, and dictate story placement/flow for newscasts and digital platforms
- Gather, shoot, edit, write, and present story content in an accurate and unbiased manner
- Coverage, Production, and Editing of local news packages for all station mediums
- Collaborate with News Director, Reporters, Editors, and Producers for daily newscasts and specials

- Write and Speak Native Spanish fluently

*** seeks a talented Producer II to join the *** 10am-12pm team!

Your Role Accountabilities...

This producer is responsible for both guest segments and field producing. Must pitch compelling and creative segment ideas on a daily basis. The producer needs strong editorial judgment with the ability to select key video and soundbites to ensure a highly produced segment. Must have the ability to write package scripts on tight deadlines. This producer will craft hard-hitting segment questions based on thorough research. This position requires someone with significant field experience who can crash field edits or set up live shots.

Qualifications & Experience...

• 7+ years producing with both field and control room experience.
• This position requires a creative thinker with the ability to find new and entertaining ways to present information, new angles to approach stories, and the organization skills to bring it all together.
• The position requires outstanding news judgment, critical and strategic thinking, and an ability to be persistent yet diplomatic.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience.
• Must be able to work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.
