Title: BANG! BANG!
Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).

We will be making a short film and need a Documentary Filmmaker to shoot behind the scenes and our "making of" and "how to" video of us doing the process.

Ideal if you have your own camera package. We can rent you a small package you are comfortable with if not.

We do have our own audio f4 Zoom field mixer and 2 lavs you can utilize.

Our short is a 1 day shoot on Tuesday April 3rd, but we will have you film our prep day as well.

The short we are making is a Western that we are shooting with Alexa XT with Lomo Anamorphic Lenses. and a 12 person crew. We need a skilled camera op with producer experience to capture the overall experience as well as capture specific "how-to" style videos that we will be doing on set during the day.

EXAMPLES. "Shooting with Anamorphic Lenses" - Capturing talking points from the Director and DP as they explain the process, challenges and use of shooting with those lenses.

"Directing a Western" - Capturing talking points from the Director about his style and process and choices as well as capturing the things they are talking about.

Etc,. We want to make 3-5 of these specific kinds of "how to" style videos - Each piece will end up being a 2-3 minute edit (we will edit).

We can also book a PA or assist for you for the shoot day if you prefer.

Need a Producer/shooter with experience in follow docs who can jump in, capture the day, and get people into explaining what they are doing on set.

Reporting to the Executive Producer and Supervising Producers, as well as working closely with our Production teams, this role will be responsible for the execution of daily editorial content covering an array of topics in a variety of forms, from breaking news to red carpets to oversight and execution of package pieces.

Essential Responsibilities

Oversee creative segments under the direction of the EP, Co-EP, and Supervising Producers as well as work closely with Production team members to ensure budget expectations are met, staffing needs are communicated, and post/deliverables are executed on time.
Be a one-person band when necessary, crashing day of air pieces for broadcast with quick turnarounds.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in news management or 7+ years of main show producing in a top 10 market.
Proficiency in working with the latest newsroom technologies, both hardware and software.
Nuanced and detailed copy editing abilities.
Proven track record of mentoring and developing Producers or Senior Producers.
Ability to partner closely with nighttime and early morning Producers to create a seamless newscast in a 24-hour news environment.
Experience creating schedules for newsroom staff.
Good collaborative and interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels.
Basic understanding and demonstration of editorial judgment and journalistic ethics in all platforms, including a current knowledge of laws of libel, slander and applicable FCC rules and regulations.

The Rotten Tomatoes team is seekinga Digital Producer. The role supports the development and implementation of overall digital strategy, taking cues from internal teams as well as multiple stakeholders, to cultivate and distribute cross-platform digital content that will engage and grow site audience. They will be responsible for all aspects of content publishing, which includes production, presentation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

Create, update, and maintain site pages in WordPress and monitor (quality control) content on live site and troubleshoot or escalate as needed.
Design, build and edit online content, pages, assets, and applications.
Coordinate the creation/design of assets for campaigns and articles as needed (banners, featured images, etc.).
Collaborate with editorial team to plan optimization of content.
Repurpose existing content into engaging assets that users can respond to
Perform content reviews and audits with a focus on driving strategy changes.
Collect and maintain quality of images for editorial use.
Frequently update editorial calendar.
Assist with community management across site - actively engage and respond to users and brainstorm ways to increase site conversation and sign-ups.
