- Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).
Production Assistant needed for high-volume cooking competition show open call.
The open call will take place on Saturday, 10/26 with potential to go through Tuesday, 10/29.
Duties will include-
-Help prepare the interview with lights, microphones and equipment etc.
-Assist Producers, Associate Producers and other crew members
-Escort potential contestants around the audition area and coordinate casting movement
-Conduct crowd control by putting up signs, directing pedestrians away from areas and locking down casting areas
-Act as a runner distributing messages or items within Casting Crew and or potential contestants
-Knowledge of time coding and/or logging (interviews)
-Perform administrative work (answering phones, paperwork etc.)
-Undertake errands as assigned
-Proven experience as production assistant for open casting calls or tv productions
-Knowledge of terminology will be appreciated
-Computer savvy
-Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
-Resourcefulness and problem-solving
-A team player with great communication skills
-Physical strength and stamina. Must be willing to stand for long period
-A valid driver’s license
-High school diploma; Relevant training (e.g. production courses) will be an advantage
