Short Term Reliable Production Assistant needed for reality shoot in Tuckahoe, NY.

Responsibilities include helping the crew load and unload equipment, assisting with appearance releases, lunch/crafty runs, and being of general assistance to the Producer on set. Must be able to lift 45-50 lbs. Previous experience preferred.

The rate is $20 an hour based on a 10 hour day. So you'd get $200 for the day if you work 10 hours or under 10 hours. After 10 hours you get additional pay.

Must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record. We cover local mileage reimbursement, but do not cover travel or accommodations.

TheHighlights Production Assistantis responsible for cutting highlights for *** & College Football games plus College Basketball games.Note:Football season (Late August to January) and College Basketball season (November to early March).

Responsibilities:

Produce short form highlights in an Avid or EVS setting that summarize the story of the game with time limitations while maintaining editorial sensibilities and shot sheet accuracy under time constraints/deadlines
Cut pre & post-game interviews using sound editorial judgement and/or at the direction of the Producer / Playback Producer
Work quickly and effectively to communicatewith Producers, Directors, and EVS operators
Secure video and audio footage to be used in highlight packages
Multitask and perform highlight responsibilities while simultaneously listening to our On-Air Talent and Producers

Job Description

This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6 - 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Digitization Production Assistant, you will handle day-to-day and long-term asset management support for the operations team working in a shared storage environment. You will help manage what production material is stored and/or archived, while also working with various production teams to fulfill footage requests.

Responsibilities:

Helpthe *** Sports Group with digitizing the videotape, disc and film archive
Organize and enter metadata for videotapes, discs and film reels in the *** Sports Group's physical *** tracking system
Review all physical libraries to determine which assets should be digitized
Prepare tapes to be sent out of house to be digitized
Assist with the editing of metadata and trimming for new digital files
Track physical *** shipments coming back to the *** Sports Group facility and prepare them to be sent out for long-term storage
Support all of *** 's production teams with footage searches, restores, EDLs, and screeners
Ensure operationally that LTO/ODA assets are being updated as they move throughout the building as they're critical to our operations

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

BS/BA degree in a relevant TV Production or related field; orequivalent work experience
Minimum one (1+) yearof familiarity with use of Avid non-linear editing software and Avid Interplay *** asset management softwareor similar NLE
Minimum one (1+) yearexperience supporting Windows operating environment
Minimum one (1+) yearof prior studio/remote sports production experience
Posses a level of sports knowledge

Job Description

The Production Assistant is a member of the MS *** Marketing team. This role is responsible for supporting creative development and production.

Responsibilities:

Aid in the production and post-production of advertising, promotionand marketing materials for MS *** .

Support the producers and editors in the creative process
Participate with Brand, *** , Research and Production teams to facilitate campaign development and ensure successful delivery
Contribute in department strategy/creative meetings to help develop ideal solutions
Research, screen and log broadcast material and shoot footage
Organize, maintain and updateelectronic files (i.e. department audio schedule, promo archive information, shoot logs, etc)
Assist in the analysis of campaign performance
Assist in managing *** cards and hard drives containing shoot footage after production

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

Bachelors degree
Minimum1 year of experience working in a marketing and/or production environment
Minimum2 years experience working with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet

Eligibility Requirements:
