JOB REQUIREMENTS:

work as a local). NY-based production company seeking experienced
Production Manager for a cable TV series.
Responsibilities include:
-Experience creating and maintaining - Call sheets/schedules/production reports/etc.
- Have a strong understanding of field production and location
shooting. PM will need to be able to troubleshoot and communicate with office and field teams. They must be willing to work in the office and travel when necessary.
- Prioritize tasks, delegate to and manage field crews.
-Understanding the shooting permit process and has experience permitting throughout the US
-Experience securing and clearing locations
- Stay organized and strong attention to detail.
-Experience transporting and travel gear with crews of all sizes and sourcing
local gear and crew as needed
-Managing operations and logistics
-Solid vendor contacts and strong negotiation skills.
-Making and tracking purchases with petty cash/p-cards
-Legal experience with releases and the ability to manage and track
show releases - must have a strong understanding of releases
-Experience hiring local crews throughout the US
-Strong tracking skills and a strong understanding of payroll procedures
-Has experience with travel shoots, booking travel, creating detailed
travel memos, permitting, production reports, etc. Familiar with hiring local crews in major cities
and rural areas
-Team player with a great can-do attitude
-Understanding of insurance practices
-Experience hiring crews
