JOB DESCRIPTION: Boston, MA based part-time Stringer/Field Researcher will go to the Boston courthouse to research information contained in pending small claims cases. As a stringer, you will be looking for interesting and compelling small claims cases that our show can produce for daytime television. In some instances, you may need to drive a good distance to and from courts. Driving time is paid for, and mileage is reimbursed. The Researcher position at Nightly News Weekend is a great opportunity to learn and master all of the building blocks of broadcast news, while also gaining experience working on deeply reported and highly produced pieces for air.

As a Researcher, you will work directly with Producers and Senior Producers to help write and assist in the production of original content for Nightly News.

Responsibilities:

Assist in producing original news content, primarily for broadcast, including, but not limited to, research, conducting interviews, writer and editing scripts, field producing and shooting, and overseeing editing
Search social *** for video and characters, and get the proper permissions

How you'll make an impact:

The Principal Technical Program Execution Lead will be responsible for the planning and execution of large, complex cross-team initiatives across platform areas within the Commerce, Acquisition, Data, and Martech domains. You must have a proven program management track record in enterprise-wide initiatives, including roadmap planning, discovery, cross-functional interdependencies, alignment, and implementation. The primary focus is the orchestration of engineering and program leadership for the development and in-market enhancements that are impactful to revenue, customer subscription management and experiences, and marketing/usage data.
This role will integrate program management best practices with your ability to help drive decision making of product and engineering stakeholders, and ultimately the execution of impactful initiatives by managing the cross-functional alignment required for delivery of business value.
In addition, this represents an exciting opportunity to be a senior member of a small and high performing experienced team of technically-focused, enterprise-level program managers, with a focus of enablement and execution. Our focus are those "big boulder" initiatives that will transform and modernize our platform, products, and business, and are thus met with much visibility across the organization.
What you'll do:
Ensure best practices and repeatable consistent processes for requirements definition, including the use of Jira to enable the traceability of tickets to our company roadmap, and the engagement with TPM-driven processes leading to engineering fulfillment
Guide the appropriate funneling of requirements to Engineering teams by driving collaborations across all functional product and stakeholder orgs, including Product teams, Business stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Marketing), and Business areas (Automotive, Content, Martech)
Contribute to executive-facing program reviews, utilizing Jira data, along with program insights, to create clear communication on health of product definition, technical executions, cross-team accountabilities and expectations. Regularly contribute to conversations with leads across all functions, including the executive leadership team.
Lead cross-functional communications, inclusive of change management and initiative status reporting
Provide escalation paths as appropriate, to identify risks, improve execution and remove barriers to execution
Lead preparations and ceremony with engineering and product for cross-domain program reviews relating to core technology initiatives
Drive a culture of innovation and be an agent of change.
Cultivate a culture that rewards aggressive pursuit of innovative solutions to problems

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
Deep experience in leading large scale technology initiatives within tight deadlines
Minimum 8 years of deep experience in managing technical programs; people management is a plus
Minimum 8 years of senior program management experience, with experience in executive leadership alignment and communication
Minimum 6 years of program experience in commerce platform technologies (payment and billing, IAP, subscription management, offer management) and/or data and marketing related technologies.
Minimum 5 years Atlassian (Jira) or similar tooling for managing product and engineering intake and fulfillment processes across large scale engineering initiatives
Minimum 5 years of program management across multiple cross-functional teams, building consumer facing applications across a variety of platforms
Minimum 5 years experience managing engineering focused programs, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Strong propensity towards relationship building
Experience working with multiple Agile methodologies
Architectural or systems design experience
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At *** , we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $145,000 - $220,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.

The Sr. Principal Technical Program Execution Lead will be responsible for the planning and delivery of large, complex cross-org initiatives spanning multiple domain areas of our digital streaming and automotive listening platforms. You must have a proven track record of program management of enterprise-wide consumer facing projects, including the management of roadmap planning, discovery, product and business alignment, cross-functional interdependencies, alignment, and implementation. The primary focus of this role is the delivery orchestration of consumer facing product experiences built on a technical platform comprising commerce, *** , content discovery, personalization, and identity domains.
This role will integrate program management best practices with your proven ability to impact decision making processes *** ween product and engineering stakeholders, and ultimately drive the execution and delivery of revenue impacting initiatives to our products that ser *** our diverse content experiences for our consumers in and out of the car.

What you'll do:

Manage the delivery of large, org-wide initiatives that involve significant technical implementations, span across multiple engineering and product domain areas, and provide overarching commercial values that require orchestration across multiple, dependent components on our business, product and technical platforms.
Build program structures across multiple domain areas by Initializing and leading discussions across engineering and product to ensure appropriate kickoff of business and technical directions, and clear ownership through developing ways of working processes.
Build collaborative partnerships with other technical program leads, product operations leads, engineering leads, and product and business owners.
Build and manage comprehensive technical timelines and milestones that include deliverables across various engineering and business areas, and ultimately map into revenue impacting objects and workstreams. This includes the ability to drive discussions that confirm and refine these timelines as road to delivery progresses.
Manage overarching risks by leading both tactical, cross-functional discussions that lead to mitigations, as well as up leveled leadership discussions to enable appropriate decision making in order to activate mitigation plans.
Build reports and presentations to elevate clear and meaningful perspectives on program health to SVP+ levels, creating confidence and accountability across various cross-org functions, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business and Content teams.
Lead large forums of cross-functional technical team leads to continuously provide clarity and communications of strategic, tactical, and process changes, and generally facilitate continuous alignment in a fast paced environment.
Be a thought leader in how to execute with efficiency in a fast paced, innovative environment, participate in process improvement working groups, and ultimately become an agent of change.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering is preferred, but equivalent work experience is accepted
Minimum 12 years of deep experience in leading large scale engineering focused programs across multiple cross-functional teams, with complex interdependencies, providing product and business deliverables with high visibility and orchestration.
Minimum 10 years of managing large scale programs across distributed systems involving broadcast and *** teams, cloud and on-premise services, and consumer-facing apps.
Minimum 10 years of senior program management experience, with experience in executive leadership alignment and communication. Comfortable presenting to SVP and above levels.
Strong propensity towards relationship building, empathetic listening, and understanding the balance of team affinities and delivering together.
Desire to work with fast paced teams, managing competing priorities, and delivering through change and ambiguity.
Experience working with multiple Agile methodologies
Architectural or systems design experience
Extensive experience in advanced AWS or comparable cloud native environments
