We are a new true crime series in search of a ‘Rockstar’ researcher to join a hard-working team.

The research position is a key function to our production and the role is only for the individual who has a powerhouse work ethic and the attitude to match. You must be a self-starter who is energetic, resourceful, creative, organized, and most of all, have experience in true crime.

The required research duties includes, but is not limited to performing and coordinating a variety of tasks:

Internet Savvy: You will be researching true crime stories and the people involved in them. Experience with Nexis, Accurint, Pipl, and other research tools is key in this position as you will be reaching to participants directly.

Know How To Work The Phones: The researcher will be responsible for contacting courthouses, reporters, attorneys, and police departments. You will also be submitting FOIA requests and obtaining records and materials within deadlines. Previous experience with cold calls is a must since you will be working to meet deadlines.

Outline Writeup: The researcher is responsible for drafting and presenting a detailed outlined to the executive producer, highlighting all aspects of the crime. This is time sensitive material and must be accurate.

Two Additional Key Requirements:
