ROLE

The archive researcher will work with producers to source all licensed footage and stills and ensure all rights are properly secured

RESPONSIBILITIES

Field editorial requests from producer teams for acquired footage and still photos.

Research available footage and stills and establish rights ownership of content.

Negotiate license terms and costs.

Secure all acquired footage licenses .

Track archive budget.

Review all shows prior to cut delivery to ensure all content is properly released.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in licensing for tv, film, and/or digital products.

Excellent organizational and team-management skills. 

Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Boston, MA based part-time Stringer/Field Researcher will go to the Boston courthouse to research information contained in pending small claims cases. As a stringer, you will be looking for interesting and compelling small claims cases that our show can produce for daytime television. In some instances, you may need to drive a good distance to and from courts. Driving time is paid for, and mileage is reimbursed.
