We are currently seeking a skilled Comedy Writer to join the creative team of our reality/comedy TV show, "Olga Knows Best?".

The series follows the hilarious misadventures of Olga, a quirky, opinionated Olga-X: x-actress, x-mathematician, and two-time x-wife who came to America to fix everyone and everything: friends, family, boyfriend and even Reality TV, by creating her own show.

If Larry David and the Kardashians had a one-night stand, this show would be their lovechild. Olga tackles everyday issues like immigration, LGBTQ, sex…and of course drug smuggling, tax evasion and the Mafia.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the show's producers and creative team to develop engaging and humorous storylines, sketches, and dialogue for each episode.
Write original comedic material that aligns with the tone and style of the show, incorporating current events, pop culture references, and relatable humor.
Pitch creative ideas and concepts for comedic segments, recurring jokes, and character development.
Work closely with the cast to ensure comedic timing and delivery are optimized for maximum laughs.
Revise and polish scripts based on feedback from producer.
Stay informed about current trends in comedy and entertainment to keep the show fresh and relevant.
In addition to writing scripts for the show, writer will also need to write snackable content for show teasers, promos, etc. for social media.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a comedy writer for television, film, or digital media.
Exceptional comedic timing and wit, with a talent for crafting original jokes and humorous situations.
Strong storytelling skills and the ability to develop engaging characters and narratives.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
A passion for comedy and a deep understanding of what makes audiences laugh.
Familiarity with reality television formats and an understanding of comedic storytelling within that context is a plus.

Additional Information:
This is a part-time position based in New York, with the possibility of remote work for the right candidate.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
