A successful candidate will bring deep tv production and esports experience, have completed projects for large broadcast networks or production houses, world class creative vision, passion for competitive gaming, and desire to produce the best and most unique esports productions in the industry.
In this role, you will own the front-to-end production of ESP Gaming’s feature production projects. You will be the creative mastermind and the field general for feature productions ranging from short esports series to ENG and media content creation for live events. In addition, you will work with our existing team members to build and lead a crew that can execute ESP’s creative vision and ensure overall success for the production.
Job responsibilities will include:
• Researching existing esports programs to improve, innovate and push the creative boundaries of production
• Work with executive team with budgeting and allocating resources.
• Maximize provided production budgets
• Study ESP Gaming’s esports programs to develop compelling narratives and storylines
• Create new short form content segments to live online as video on demand as well as integrated into live broadcasts as pre-produced content
• Attend all feature shoots and oversee post-production of those shoots
• Liaise with show producer to integrate short form content into broadcast narratives
• Participate in weekly creative meetings with producer to provide constant flow of fresh ideas and innovation
• Possess basic editing skills
Preferred Qualifications
• 7+ years in creating TV broadcast packages, preferably sports or esports
• Awareness and sensitivity to aesthetics, art direction and trends
• Passion for competitive video gaming and esports
• Strong ability to tell stories and capture human emotions through film
• Possess strong interview skills
• Ability to think outside the box and push creative initiatives and ideas
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to quickly understand and assess opportunities and/or problems and respond with creative ideas and solutions
• Ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple assignments concurrently
• Make priority decisions under deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
Applicant must be willing to move to Las Vegas if not located there. Moving expenses negotiable.
