Seeking a local mixer with gear, for an independent feature documentary following local political candidates leading up to the election. Will be approx.15-30 days over the course of several months. Must have prior experience as a sound mixer on a *VERITE* documentary or documentary series. Must also have experience with sit-down interviews. Must have references, must be local, (not willing to work as local). Experience on political projects a plus!

We're looking for a sound mixer for an upcoming non-union shoot in Baltimore on May 8. This is corporate shoot where we will be filming a number of people reading off a teleprompter. A 1-2 day documentary shoot for a California based organization called Hope the Mission. The documentary will follow the founders on their 3500 mile bike ride across the country to raise awareness and funds to combat the homeless crisis!

The shoot will be a half day from approximately 2pm-6pm with a series of straight forward interviews and b roll with individuals, service providers and elected officials.

The job is for a charitable organization so everyone that is engaged on the project are all making the same day rate.

A sound mixer for a micro budget web show shooting entirely indoors.

Looking for a sound mixer for a true crime series shooting in Rockford, IL. Hotels can be provided from Chicago for overnights on consecutive shoot days.

Main shoot set up is a 2 camera talking head interview, we shoot about 2 sit down interviews a day. Sometimes we will also shoot OTF interviews/walk and talks.

Gear requirements are 2x lav mics (for the occasional 2 head interview) and a boom for the interviews. We will not need comteks.

Looking for an audio mixer with extensive verite documentary experience. Important to note that we are often filming gaming competitions, so are looking for someone who is experienced working in these fast paced environments and mic’ing multiple subjects with ease. Definitely need someone who is calm under pressure.

Ideal candidate will have their own equipment, 788T or equivalent with minimum of 5 open tracks and a boom.
