We are filming a group conversation tomorrow afternoon as part of an upcoming education documentary and looking for a sound recordist to help capture audio from various participants. Ideal set up may be a floating boom with select individuals also laved up. Shoot will be in downtown Louisville and last no more than 2 1/2 hours from arrival to wrap. Applicants must own their own equipment. Rate includes pay and equipment fee.

We are looking for a Sound Recordist for 1 sit down documentary interview, in the Palo Alto area on 6th May. Record in participants own home. Director will participate on Zoom. Filming on Sony Venice. Rate for Sound Kit is $350 on top of labor rate.

Hello! We have a one-day shoot in San Ramon/Bay Area and we're looking for a sound recordist. You're excellent at your craft and come with references you don't mind us checking, you've got the right gear to lav and/or boom and record individual tracks. And you're super fun to work with! We are, too.

The job is a docustyle corporate where we'll be shooting group interviews of 4-5 people and then b-roll. You'll be in at 8 and out by 6, latest. Camera is a Canon C70, yes we have the XLR adapters. But we'll want your pristine-ish native audio files, too.

This is an all-in, 10 hour day rate including kit (boom, mikes, mixer) and delivery of files.

We are looking for a PRODUCTION SOUND RECORDIST / MIXER—ideally someone with 1) extensive experience capturing sound from the sound engineers running LIVE EVENTS and 2) experience simultaneously boom operating and sound mixing on-the-fly interviews in non-production environments.

We are shooting a corporate event at U.S. Bank Stadium — it’s a Gala style event where our key talent will be speaking on stage. We’ll need you to capture audio from the live event team’s microphones by recording a “line out” feed from the sound board controlled by the on-site live event sound engineers. Our producers will help coordinate this prior to the event so the live event team will be aware of your needs. We ask that you join one email thread with the event’s sound engineer to help streamline this communication.

This job will take place on MAY 16th between 3pm and 9pm.

Production / Gear Needs:
1 professional sound mixer for dialogue
intended to record dialogue from wireless mic kit and/or boom mic from on-the-fly interviews
1 additional sound mixer to record the “line out” feed from live event sound engineer
1 adapter kit + misc. cable kit to receive “line out” feed from live event sound board
we will coordinate with the live event team but please prepare to bring multiple options to receive a “line out” feed (XLR adapters, ¼ inch cables/adapters, etc)
1 wireless lavalier mic kit

Post Production Needs:
We will need “polywav” files with each individual audio track isolated for mixing in post production.

In Depth with Graham Bensinger averages 3 million television viewers/episode and 2.5 million digital views/episode airing weekly across the U.S. on the local NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX stations. It re-airs on NBC Regional Sports Networks and FOX Sports Nets, YouTube, ESPN in Australia/Latin America/Caribbean, BT Sport in Ireland/UK and TSN in Canada. POSITION SUMMARY

- We film on Canon 5D Mark IVs.
- We record at 48000 khz, 24 bit, shoot at 29.97 drop-fps and do not require timecode jamming.
- Audio must be recorded to separate tracks - we have to be able to split audio. Mixdowns and backup tracks are welcome but no mixdown as primary track.
- Hops are not necessary but welcome if no additional cost.
- Minimum of (1) IFB required for the producer to monitor audio.
- At least two subjects, no more than four, requiring wireless lavalier microphones throughout the interview and following activities.
- Booming additional subjects and activities will be required.
-Mic redundancies required for sit-down interviews when there are 2 subjects (aka 2 lavs and 2 booms).
- We will provide an SD, CF card or both for each day we film and then collect upon wrapping.




REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS 

- Ability to troubleshoot technical difficulties
- Ability to work under stressful and extreme conditions, as well as quickly adapt to last-minute schedule changes
