We are looking for a PRODUCTION SOUND RECORDIST / MIXER—ideally someone with 1) extensive experience capturing sound from the sound engineers running LIVE EVENTS and 2) experience simultaneously boom operating and sound mixing on-the-fly interviews in non-production environments.

We are shooting a corporate event at U.S. Bank Stadium — it’s a Gala style event where our key talent will be speaking on stage. We’ll need you to capture audio from the live event team’s microphones by recording a “line out” feed from the sound board controlled by the on-site live event sound engineers. Our producers will help coordinate this prior to the event so the live event team will be aware of your needs. We ask that you join one email thread with the event’s sound engineer to help streamline this communication.

This job will take place on MAY 16th between 3pm and 9pm.

Production / Gear Needs:
1 professional sound mixer for dialogue
intended to record dialogue from wireless mic kit and/or boom mic from on-the-fly interviews
1 additional sound mixer to record the “line out” feed from live event sound engineer
1 adapter kit + misc. cable kit to receive “line out” feed from live event sound board
we will coordinate with the live event team but please prepare to bring multiple options to receive a “line out” feed (XLR adapters, ¼ inch cables/adapters, etc)
1 wireless lavalier mic kit
ideally an RF-interference free solution as this location will be filled with interference
we have access to 2x DPA 6061s and 1x Tentacle 32-bit Sync-E Recorder if we need additional gear

Post Production Needs:
We will need “polywav” files with each individual audio track isolated for mixing in post production.

Pay:
~$750 for 6 hours (3:00pm-9:00pm). Unfortunately our budget is fixed. We can’t exceed $750/6 hours, so if your rate is higher than that, you need not apply.

Looking for a sound mixer local to Vegas to assist with some on the fly interviews and docu-style sound capture at ACT Expo.

Shoot is for a client with a booth at ACT - we'll be capturing people interacting with the booth, casual on the fly interviews, as well as capturing audio of ride and drives in a vehicle.

Will need lavs + boom as well as the ability to set up a separate recording device in a vehicle to capture audio of the ride and drives that crew will not be physically present for.

National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) is hosting an annual conference in Las Vegas 6/18 - 6/21. Our team will be filming the event to produce stock footage style archival content and post-produce a highlight sizzle; along with additional marketing content.

Applicant should be capable of working with Camera Op to record sound for live events, presentations, environment broll and interviews. (Will need to secure feed from board for presentations) You should be very familiar with the BlackMagic 6k Pro and RED Komodo. Sound will need to provide mixer, boom pole, mic, 2 hops and a lav kit. We can provide a c-stand for locked down interviews.

Teams will be on a 12hr day but likely wrap in 8-10. There will be plenty of breaks and downtime.

Think American Pickers or Antique Roadshow in terms of the style and logistics we will be dealing with. We'll be tied to the filming locations (the homes) without any real company moves once we get rolling.

ISO people experienced with on-set protocol and communication, can-do attitude and comfortability in fast-paced shooting environments. We are filming a sports documentary series for a major sports association that will air on ESPN.

We are looking for a Sound Mixer for a field shoot happening in the Philly area on Saturday 04/27.

The series is a typical documentary series, featuring: run and gun components, sit-down interviews, on-the-fly interviews, scenics, and "hero/portrait" shots.

In search of a Sound Mixer for a two-day shoot in Jacksonville, FL scheduled for June. The specific dates are yet to be determined, but we are currently in the process of assembling the crew. The initial day will involve verite filming and potentially capturing some B-Roll footage, while the second day will primarily focus on conducting interviews. A Supervising Producer will be present to oversee the verite filming process, provide assistance, and prepare questions for the interviews.
