Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).

We are looking for a wardrobe supervisor for a long running TV series specializing in dramatic re-creations of historical tales.

Applicant must be:
1) Knowledgeable about and willing to research authentic costume from all historical eras, from Biblical times to astronauts of modern day
2) The ideal candidate will already have or know of a storehouse of costumes that they can pick items from and/or are willing to build a collection
3) Must be able to prepare quickly, adapt to changing requests and be available to dress dozens of actors while on set

This is a long-term position for someone who is willing to commit to a large and dedicated creative team for several seasons ahead.

We are seeking a creative and resourceful Costume Designer to join our team for an upcoming independent film. This is a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about storytelling through apparel, to bring characters to life in a visually compelling manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in costume design , with a keen ability to work within budget constraints and source materials creatively. This role requires collaboration with the director and actors to develop and execute a cohesive visual style that enhances the narrative and character development of the film.

As this is a low-budget independent project, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and is adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. The Costume Designer will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of costume production from concept to final on-screen appearance, including sewing, alterations, and on-set adjustments. This position offers the chance to be intimately involved in the filmmaking process and to make a significant impact on the look and feel of the film. Candidates with a portfolio demonstrating previous work in a feature film(s) will be given preference.
