Job Summary: We are looking for a Department Line Producer with a strong grasp of scheduling, who embodies the production excellence, collaborative spirit and passion for great filmmaking that defines ILM.
The Department Line Producer is responsible for managing artist schedules for the department across multiple shows, and will work with the Department Talent Manager to resolve any day to day issues.
Role reports to Production Talent Manager.
What You'll Do• Establish artist schedules, working closely with discipline Talent Manager, Supervisors and/or Leads in
crewing, casting, and assigning tasks.
• Track and manage artist tasks. Ensure work is on target and meeting deadlines.
• Serve as a key communication liaison *** ween Show teams and Department
• Anticipate and escalate any potential issues that may affect the schedule or workflow
• Keep a weekly synopsis of discipline accomplishments and outline next steps.
• Ensure good communication, manage department meetings, weekly target schedules and complete
departmental reports.
What We're Looking For• Previous experience operating at the Line Producer level in VFX.
• Knowledge of sequence and department scheduling.
• Proven experience in effectively managing artists.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Creative thinking and innovative problem-solving attributes, particularly when resolving resources and
crewing issues
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision.
• Essential experience with Shotgrid.
