Freelance DGA Production Associate, ***

Responsibilities:
- Assist art directors with the direction and oversight of graphic layouts for both live and longform productions
- Research editorial content of graphics for factual accuracy
- Ensure content of graphics remain consistent with the look and style of *** standards
- Research and use resources to provide properly licensed imagery to be used in network graphics
- Liaise with show production personnel to manage graphics production and priorities
- Traffic the on-air playback of graphic artists for broadcasts of news programs
- Daily maintenance, organization and archiving of graphics assets
Required Qualifications
- Excellent organization and communication skills and prior experience working in production
- Must be take-charge individual capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround of production elements
- Candidate must be willing to be flexible, and work unconventional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Television or live production experience
- Familiarity with New York Times and AP Style
Education:
- A BA or BS from a 4-year accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
The pay rate for this role in New York is $399 per day. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
