Camera Operator working under a DP. Operated a Sony PMW-200 for verite and scripted scenes but was also responsible for setting up GoPros and a 5D.

Camera Operator for various live-streamed (and recorded for edit) TED talks between 2012 and 2015. Typical live event-type production: all operators were on headset, with a technical director calling out the shots. I was typically on the close-up or medium close shot.

2nd Unit DP for several episodes, main unit DP for one episode. Narrative-style re-creation scenes. Extremely fast-paced production - I worked with the producer and/or director to help turn one or two locations into many more.

Camera Operator/Producer/Sound Recordist for pickups day. Responsible for extensive voice-over for the show open as well as many episodes. Also re-staged "on-the-fly" interviews to be inter-cut with previously shot footage.

Camera Operators on VIP 5 also acted as producers: I shot verite footage while work was being done, but simultaneously looked for story points and opportunities, then worked with the talent to get "on-the-fly" interviews during the scenes. I also shot beauty shots (usually the "afters" from "before-and-afters"), b-roll, timelapses and set GoPros for action shots.

I worked on/off as a photographer and videographer for illy USA's social media. I would work with the media director to conceptualize images for each season or for their different events and brands, then work with illy, its master barista and its partners to get the shots and sometimes short videos. These included beauty shots, "user generated" type shots, short funny videos and how-to's. For all the still images I did my own editing, Photoshopping and color correction.

DP for music video-style holiday ad for Cole Haan featuring Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.

DP for Adult Swim TV special encompassing a wide variety of styles in one episode - Talk Show, low-budget music video, high-end web series, documentary and more.

Worked with a co-DP to cover scenes during a run-and-gun reality/doc show. Worked with Director and Producers to stage and cover scenes in the most effective and stylistic way possible.

Director of Photography for an extremely low-budget feature - I worked closely with the director and assistant director in order to find creative solutions to filming the project with almost no lighting equipment or crew.
