Led the creation, development, casting, pitching, and sale of new documentary and reality television series for cable network clients, including Fox Business Network, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, TLC, and History. Executive production, shoot directing, editing, and script writing of demo reels for sale of new concepts.Most notably, I created, developed, sold, and led the story development team for the hit series “Strange Inheritance” for Fox Business Network, currently entering its fourth season. “Strange Inheritance” became Fox Business’ first foray into reality television and debuted with the network’s highest premiere ratings to date.

Created and pitched new episode stories to network executive on a weekly basis for greenlight. Led the story development team to execute 26 episodes per season. Story produced and developed story arcs and written materials for greenlight of several individual episodes per season. Implemented strategies for the story team to develop stories to fit the network’s goals, mission, and target audiences (e.g., building female, military, and business owner viewership). Researched, identified, and booked stories. Conducted interviews with families, friends, and experts to build the best story.

Created, developed, casted, and sold this concept, which profiles a subculture of Americans who buy large volumes of products at discount and then flip them for profit. Created both Skype casting video pitches and paper concepts.

Assisted the Supervising Producer in overall story production and story arcs for the season for this series that profiles real-life tugboat companies on the Great Lakes. Wrote scripts and strungout/edited video (in AVID) for stories within individual episodes before handoff to the Story Producer. Casted new characters, produced and filmed casting reels and shoots for new characters. Collaborated with the Supervising Producer to determine which archive would best fit the stories for each episode and then acquired this archive from underwater divers and archive houses. Implemented process to acquire and integrate future archive into the series.

Led story development and casting for this crime pilot, which profiles the stories of people who are victims of fraud. Pitched story ideas to network. Developed story arcs for pilot. Wrote stories and materials for greenlight before handoff to producer. Conducted interviews with family, friends and law enforcement to build the best story. Coordinated access with law enforcement.

Created, developed, and sold concept, which follows a daredevil group of friends in the Florida Everglades as they rebuild a historic animal park. Served as associate field producer for demo.
