• Act as a liaison between the writer, producer and editor • Responsible for signed appearance, location and AQ releases • Track down, make selects and ingest appropriate and technically accurate acquired footage • Cataloging AQ in FileMaker • Review legal documentation for acquired footage • Submitting Rights Waivers to network when necessary • Ensure payments to AQ vendors are made on time and submitting invoices to accounting • Working with AE’s to make sure AQ and field footage is ingested where needed • Research for writers and producers • Make transcripts, DVD’s available to writers • Communication with Graphics in order to assure vision/ deadlines are met • Keeping contacts list updated in FileMaker • Obtaining and selecting appropriate music for project • Assemble credits list for approval • Keeping detailed log of budget for AQ footage • Conform scripts • Review program during subsequent edits to ensure we have proper clearances for appearance/ location/ AQ. Silver & Black Productions produces two weekly television broadcasts during the NFL season, marketed towards maintaining the long-lasting, loyal relationships of Raiders fans. The shows include The Silver and Black Show, and The Raiders Report, both 30-minutes.
