Creating design concepts for Chinese feature film in Detroit , Mi. Managed an art department of 15 people in construction , scenic paint and prop building . Monitored schedule and budget throughout show and was able to return 75% of items purchased for the film for a full refund.

Created/executed all design concepts and art department positions for 5 different commercials for Temi Personal assistant Robot. Dressed sets, purchased / managed props , carpentry, managing and reconciliation of all petty cash and receipts.

Assisted production designer and producer purchasing home furnishings, staging home, painting, replacing lights and ceiling fans followed by full return of all items and reconciliation of receipts and petty cash

Construction of a bed made of disco balls designed to be stood up on a street corner and artist walks up to it and they both fall to the ground in slow motion through use of an actuator system designed by myself and another carpenter. Also had to rig bed for a slow descent on sound stage for another scene. Meticulous care was taken to ensure the crew and artists safety.

Driving both Camera box truck and G&E box truck for rental pickups all over NYC and NJ. Safely and efficiently loaded and secured items in truck and safely delivered to set. Assisted with load in for all departments, followed by Reload then returning all rentals including vehicles.

Renting production vehicle, Shopping, consulting with production designer and art director to determine shopping list. Maintained meticulous records of receipts and production paperwork. Worked with the rest of the art department to design , build and paint obstacle courses and podiums for commercial.

As leadman for art department I worked closely with the production designer and art director to clearly and efficiently bring their vision to life. Safe operation of 28' Box truck packing ,loading and securing set dressing and props for transport to set. Supervised a crew of 4 carpenters, and 3 interns for the construction and dressing of a public restroom set on sound stage. Maintained records and receipts for PC, P-Cards and other purchases for expense reports and eventually returns at wrap. Assisted locations in repairing damages to homeowner film locations caused by G&E and any other cosmetic fixes.
