Alan Espejel

I work as a producer and color commentator broadcasting high school football games during the fall 2015 and fall 2016. I have also done play by play work during spring 2016 semester. Currently, I will be working the Spring 2017 football season for the SA Warriors semi-pro football team. My work consists of board operating, camera operations when needed, social media interactions during the game and commentating the game.

My internship experience with Rooster Teeth consisted of helping around the offices, assisting casting for our numerous film shoots and finding locations for film shoots. During a film shoot, I worked as a production assistant, helping set up the film set, helping the crew in their various tasks and shadowing when possible. I’ve been able to shadow and learn more about operating a RED One and Epic 4k camera, sound recording technology and boom mic operation and how to properly set and light a film shoot. I also worked as a Grip during certain shoots, given more responsibilities in the process including setting up equipment and lighting and camera operation. I have worked freelance PA and as a grip with them after ending my internship.

I worked as a camera operator for KBVO on a number of basketball, baseball and softball games throughout the fall 2014 and spring 2015 semester. I am trained and skilled on camera technology and visual storytelling in sports broadcasting. I also worked for the company throughout the Fall 2016 Football schedule and into the State Playoffs.
