I helped project manage the entire post department. In our case, this involved prioritizing AE duties, acquiring cleared footage from both the US and Spain, managing the clearance budget and acquiring music clearance contracts, drive storage management, making sure content got through online finishing, creating and monitoring PA duties, helping organize footage that came in from the field, and LTO tape organization.

I have kept the editor workflow efficient in order to keep up with an ever changing post calendar. This is a game show with 65 episodes moving very quickly and up against an air date. I created a new post calendar for to accommodate a new air order and have been maintaining it. Simultaneously I have helped managed assistant editor tasks, post production assistant tasks, consistently submitted management payroll, and kept track of final deliverables for wrap.

I worked part time in order to help maintain timelines for both social influencers and brands. While at Kin, I also took set stills and product stills for kin produced content, field notes for kin produced content, arranged set/wardrobe materials for material we shot in house and also produced youtube cut down videos. This position helped introduce me to digital content and translate my tv skills to digital platforms.

I acquired the title of post supervisor while helping to manage and build a system for the post production department at AMPLE, LLC in Culver City. In that position, I managed post during the production of Cold Case Files for A&E, Hacking the Wild for Science Channel, Cooper’s Treasure for Discovery, and Murder in the Heartland for Investigation Discovery. Responsibilities included daily task prioritizing with the assistant editors, planning online finishing, completing final deliverables, post calendars, and footage ingest planning. For part of the time I did this by myself before hiring a new post person to share the responsibilities and in that time I feel I really grew as a post professional .

In this position, I handled screening and pushing packages to stage on tape days, coordinated producer notes for the online finishing process, helped prioritize assistant editor tasks throughout the week, maintained communication between producers/post/stage needs, and helped keep the post department caught up based on the air schedule. Once the Amber Rose Show began, I maintained the same responsibilities but also completed final deliverables for VH1.
