Assisted in the production of a local television commercial for the new water park Hydro Adventures. Monitored the shot sheet and production schedule, handled equipment, and directed extras.

Traveled to Oxford, MS to shoot an episode of The Inside Man at Ole Miss. I helped to coordinate interviews, obtain press releases, set up lighting, make sure the production stayed on schedule, and keep track of all equipment.

Worked closely with the director and production team on a house hunting show called Sweet Retreats. Duties included scouting locations, picking up equipment, script supervising, and various other administrative and organizational tasks to ensure that the production ran smoothly.

Gained experience in creating and editing promotions, directing, producing, operating camera equipment, and working with production crews, specifically for local sporting events, commencement ceremonies, and local PBS programming. • Promoted to Promotions Coordinator to oversee and manage the production of station promotions in April 2012.

Worked on a news media team to tell stories through an experience, utilizing both traditional techniques and the newest technologies to engage an audience. Gained multi-media journalism experience in video production, audio production, web design and coding, and social network outreach.
