In charge of bringing in all footage and preparing it for editorial. Script sync, Grouping, and footage retrieval. Got extensive use of the MXF F1000 System from MOG technologies in cooperation with Avid. 9,000 hours of footage plus the usual grouping, syncing, etc.

I sat in with the Assistant Editors from March first till the end of the season. I got to do dailies, sit in with the director, and spotting sessions. I helped with promo pieces, gag reel, and playback. I was prepared to step in should NCIS Red have taken off.

I sat in with the Assistant Editor when they were finishing up their dailies in January. I got to load in and work with the dailies while prepping the editor for the days workload.

Log, Capture, and Transcode all materials into workable forms for ingestion and delivery. Maintain Server Organization while prepping dailies and materials for Editors. Voice over recording both in house and through ISDN into Soundtrack Pro. Maintain fiber lines for real time, cross town, editorial review.
