I owned and operated an independent audiobook production company that employed over 15 editors. I was responsible for receiving raw audio from the client, then disseminating it to the appropriate editor for edit and QC, as well as managing deadlines, budgets, and final delivery.

I was held responsible for producing and editing a series of employee interviews for the Audible.com career page. I also conducted interviews with authors who were in studio reading their latest book. During this time, I produced and edited audio books, which required technical precision while maintaining key creative aspects such as dramatic pacing and the narrator’s performance.

I edited and polished short form, non-fiction video packages for live0to0the-web shows. Raw footage was delivered on a daily basis, packages first had to be edited to tell a compelling story, then all packages required: color correction, motion graphics, audio mix, sound design, output and archive. Notable daily shows included: Keeping it Real with Reverend Al Sharpton, Straight Ahead with Bob Grant, The Richard Bey Show, Raw Sugar: The Original Sugar Hill Gang.
