I worked to help produce an event called The CinéFashion Film Awards (also referred to as The CFFA’s), an international fashion film awards show, hosted and filmed this year at the El Capitan Theatre. As an intern, I assisted with the ideation, planning, and execution of the event by doing tasks ranging from, but not limited to: accounting for and handling license agreements, venue and vendor research, guest list management and invitations, annotating weekly meetings, and organizing and updating event timelines, calendars, and contact sheets.

I worked with a small crew helping to film interviews for a casting special. I loaded, transported, unloaded, and help set up gear and lighting, worked as a stand in, organized crew lunch and krafty, and drove talent and crew to and from filming locations in a twelve passenger van.

I worked the World of Wonder Productions documentary booth in which we conducted and filmed “man-on-the-street” interviews of convention attendees and guests. I monitored the set, maintained security of the lighting, sound, and camera gear, selected individuals for interviews, and prepared them accordingly.

General set set-up, maintenance, and break down, general production assistant duties of running miscellaneous errands, crowd control, washed, folded, and steamed laundry as necessary for the contest and contestants, and oversaw the noise maintenance and set lockouts while filming.
