Case AP: Finding and booking talent, finding real cases and tweeking them for tv (writing the creative content), constructing case layout, finding experts (doctors, electricians, work professionals etc.), creating and researching visual elements, creative development and execution. *wrote and Cased (Segment) Produced 2 cases while serving as an AP.

Provided assistance with casting calls in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, D.C. Casting Assistant for shows “Bad Girls Club” and “Real World.” Casting calls are about 2 -3 times a year. My duties included, but were not limited to ensuring the smooth running and proper execution of the casting call and organizing selected applicants and applications for callbacks. I am the casting assistant to attend and assist with the next day call backs.

Direct contact for guests. Assuring that guests have all information and needs met for pre-production, production, and post production. Collaborating with other producers for episode story pitching and story creatives. Organizing and constructing Production books for each episode to give to network. Communicating specific episode needs to each department. i.e. camera and art. Responsible for providing guidance to the Production Assistants. Supervising b-roll shoots and producing guests for background packages. Immediate and efficient problem solving. Organizing all production needs for the day. Responsible for scheduling guest’s interviews. Responsible for creating and updating weekly calendar. Transcribing and logging.

Active participant in planning and executing creative for unscripted programming. Creating production books. Sourcing and creating production elements. Write prop list based off of creative, shop for props and dress all sets. Make sure props are in place and ready to go for each beat. Ensure talent and guests are taken care of, informed, and prepared for the day. Communicate with talent throughout each shooting day. Directly assist producers before, during, and after production. Transcribing and logging. So far I have worked with the show in Atlanta and Maryland.

Professor Brigid Maher’s documentary film “The Mama Sherpas” My duties included, but were not limited to creating press releases to send to local organizations and groups for support of the film. I did research about midwifes and various organizations and groups that supported midwifes. During production I organized release forms and contact information via excel.and input contact information data.
