Primary content creator for a diverse set of stories featuring freshwater restoration. Independently take video and photography projects from conception to delivery, playing many roles including producer, cinematographer, and editor. Partnered with Google, Columbia Sportswear, and TREW gear to tell inspiring river stories through video. Work requires efficient multi-tasking, organized media management, a creative eye, and filming in remote outdoor locations. Photography featured in Canoe and Kayak magazine, Bloomberg magazine, and Portland Business Journal. Videos selected to kickoff the River Restoration Northwest film festival.

Edited, produced, and shot both half-hour broadcasts and web shorts featuring environmental stories from across the globe. Primary editor for shows on the Gray wolf conflict in the northwest (95,000+ views), coal ash dumping in Georgia and Pennsylvania, innovative green technologies in Sweden, and toxic waste dumping in Tom’s River, New Jersey. Responsible for a diversity of lighting situations including run and gun and formal interview. Routinely managed a budget, facilitated script writing, developed production schedules, collaborated with outside contracts, and worked within broadcast quality control parameters.

Contracted to be primary videographer on week long investigative style shoots. Produced and edited two web series, one examining industrial farms in California and Mexico, and another on poultry farms in the Chesapeake Bay. Field production required work in high risk environments.

Lead editor for this award winning documentary about the most important sh in the Chesapeake bay you’ve never heard of. Editing work required close collaboration with a director and producer. Also, facilitated story development, research, and subject acquisition. Kicked off Chesapeake Bay week on MPT. Of cial selection at American Conservation Film Festival, Wildscreen US. Managed footage collections and edited web shorts focusing on wildlife research and conservation. Worked in the crittercam department facilitating story development.

Directed, lmed, and edited a 65-minute documentary examining the impact an electric fence created in divid- ing a community from a national park in central Botswana. Documentary required manging a budget, develop- ing scripts, coordinating logistics in remote areas of Botswana, and writing lm festival applications. Selected at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital. Cine Golden Eagle Award.

Assistant Editor on documentary feature Unbreakable featuring the Western States 100-mile run. Also assisted on a short documentary, featuring ocean rower Roz Savage, as she solo rowed the Atlantic Ocean. Video was accepted as a nalist at the 2009 Banff Mountain Film Festival in the Best Film on Mountain sports category. Also received Jury Award at the 2010 Vancouver Mountain Film Festival.
